Ground poles simulate fallen trees and other obstacles on the trail. You can set them up in a pattern on the ground to help get your horse ready for Trail Classes in shows or actual trail riding. You can also teach your horse to jump and sidepass using the poles. And as you advance in your training, you might try bridleless riding through the pole course as in the last picture on this page! |
